IMPORTANT: You may only choose an enrichment class that is offered at your child's school of attendance. Your child may not attend a class at another school site.

We are so excited to announce that the Child Development Program will be hosting After School Enrichment classes for the FALL 2025 Session. Class sessions will begin the week of October 14, 2025 and end the week of December 12 ,2025. The classes be 60 minutes long and will operate for 6 weeks.

Tuesday classes will begin October 14th, to make up for the Tuesday November 11th holiday. All other classes will start the week of October 20th.

If you enroll a student who is not eligible for PRIORITY Registration during this window, the registration will be deleted. If you enroll in more than one class, your second selection will be removed from the system based on submission time.

Our goal is to provide enrichment opportunities for our students in five focus areas over the course of a school year: STEM, Arts, Culture, Music, and Wellness. You will see that courses fall into some but not all focus areas. As we continue to expand our programs, more courses will be offered in a variety of focus areas throughout the school year.

Course titles and days will be listed below in your specific school site link when registration opens. Please note - because we want to ensure more students have access to courses, families will initially only be able to register for a SINGLE class per student. Course session ending numbers reflect the grade level for the particular class. For example F25MVTTKto2 is a class available for TK through 2nd grade students. A class with the number F25NPW3to6 would be a class available for 3rd through 6th grade students. The site code is also in the course title, NP for North Park, MV for Mountainview. Please be sure that you are registering in the correct school location where your child attends. Incorrect registrations for a specific school site will be deleted from the system. Students may not attend an enrichment course offered at a different school site location.

Codes: If you are issued a CODE via a parent square notification, that code is specific to you and may not be shared with others. Please input the code during the registration process.

We are looking forward to a wonderful Spring session of engaging and exciting enrichment courses.

Enrollment: Students will be able to enroll in one class during the FALL After School Enrichment session. If students are enrolled in more than one class, our staff will remove the extra classes from the ELEYO registration system without notification. Classes will operate from the week of October 14th through December 12th.

Absence Policy: If your child will be absent from an enrichment class, please notify the instructor and/or the school site. No refunds or credits are offered for absences. If your student is a no show to the first class and the parent hasn't contacted the department, they may be dropped from the class.

Cancellation/ Refund Policy: The payment for the enrichment class will be processed upon submission and acceptance of the contract. All payments are non-refundable. Refunds or adjustments will not be made for withdrawal from the enrichment program, to include, but not limited to absences, illnesses, quarantine, suspensions or district mandated site closures.

Waitlist: If a course is at capacity you will automatically be placed on the waitlist. Please note that the system will require you to input your payment information to complete the contract request. Your card will not be charged unless there becomes space available in the course and your child is removed from the waitlist and placed in the class.

Pick up Procedures: Please promptly be at the pick up location at dismissal time for your child's enrichment course. Students not promptly picked up at dismissal of the enrichment course will be brought to the front office for pick up. You must bring your ID to show proper authorization

Volleyball Rising Stars Volleyball takes the energy and excitement of this great team sport and puts it all together into one fun-filled program. All aspects of the game are taught through drills and exercises that focus on bumping, setting, spiking, hitting and serving. This program is designed for the beginning to intermediate player.

Cheer and Fitness: Cheer class emphasizes fitness with warm-ups, stretching, and cheerleading techniques. We will cover the importance of teamwork while working on choreography, basic tumbling, and stunts. You’ll get to show your spirit while building confidence and self-esteem.

Culinary Class by LIFT

Healthy Culinary Workshops Our Healthy Culinary Workshop is an interactive program for students to learn about health, nutrition and how to cook delicious, homemade meals at home. It’s open to students who may not know the basics of cooking or just want to expand their knowledge of cooking and explore healthy options in the process. Our engaging classes are taught by real Chef Teachers who inspire students to cookduring each lesson. If your student has food allergies, you must note this during registration. The Chefs are not able to substitute food for allergies. We will send a cookbook of the proposed recipes to the families prior to the start of the class. Students Will Receive: Samples from each dish, including all fresh ingredients In-Person: Our Chef Teacher arrives on site with the ingredients and leads students through culinary workshops. Educational Components of Each Workshop Aligned with Common Core Standards with an emphasis on real world skills, health literacy and an understanding of nutrition fundamentals. Each lesson highlights o Culture: Origins of the Food, Food History o Culinary Skills: Sauté, Chop, Season, Measure, etc. o Nutrition: Macro-nutrients, Micro-vitamins, Carbohydrates, Protein, Fiber, etc. Classes will include reinforcement of culinary rules including food safety, cleanliness, knife safety and more.
