Early Learning Programs

California State Preschool Program

The California State Preschool Program (CSPP) engages students in playful, purposeful instruction by implementing small group time, literacy circle, story time, learning and discovery time through centers and outdoor playtime aligned to the CDE Preschool Learning Foundations.

Families who are interested in enrolling must meet the designated income ceilings and all eligibility requirements are determined by the Early Education and Support Division (EESD) and the Department of Social Services Community Care Licensing Division.

The California State Preschool program will be offered at three locations: Cedarcreek Elementary, Rio Vista Elementary and Rosedell Elementary schools.

Our collaborative classrooms are staffed by an early childhood preschool teacher, early childhood special education teacher, and paraprofessionals.
